Despite the gloomy weather, the sun peeked through, making today’s parade a remarkable success!
Around 450 enthusiastic participants joined in the event, led by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Capas.
Starting at the Death March Memorial in Barangay CutCut I, the parade weaved through the Capas Central Business District (CBD), passing through Barangays Talaga, Sta. Rita, Manga, and Dolores, finally concluding at the Capas Municipal Hall.
Mayor Roseller “Boots” Rodriguez, Vice Mayor Alex Espinosa, Members of the Sangguniang Bayan ng Capas, and Barangay Captains warmly greeted Francine Reyes with flowers, as this special occasion also marked her courtesy call to the LGU officials since her win in the Miss Grand Philippines 2023 Pageant on July 14.
What’s truly inspiring is the environment-friendly support demonstrated by the event participants! Through carpooling, carrying their own water bottles, and proper waste disposal throughout the parade, they showcased their commitment to a greener future. 🚗💧♻️
