The Capas Tourism Office under the leadership of Ms. Maita Claire L. Bartolome, in collaboration with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office, headed by Mr. Mark Robert N. Mercado, RN EMT successfully concluded the Standard First Aid and Basic Life Support Training for tourism frontliners.
This intensive one-day training equipped a total of 380 dedicated tour and eco guides, 4×4 jeep drivers, and Tourism personnel providing frontline services at the Mt. Pinatubo Trek Adventure with crucial life-saving skills. To ensure comprehensive learning, participants were organized into two batches.
The training was held in Barangay Sta. Juliana, and is primarily designed with one key objective: to empower every participant with the readiness to respond effectively during emergencies.
The success of this training stands as a testament to the commitment of the Capas Local Government with Mayor Roseller B. Rodriguez at the helm to fostering a culture of safety, preparedness, and excellence in our community. Together, we’re building a stronger, more resilient future.
