Health Capas (1)Prompt actions and immediate response matters! Despite a public hospital, Ospital Ning Capas (ONC), situated at the municipal grounds of Capas, is known to provide efficient services among its patrons and boasts its state-of-the-art facilities.

Just in the first month of its returnee mayor, Hon. Reynaldo Catacutan, he has implemented FREE consultations and PhilHealth ng MASA making 2016 a great year for the ONC.

With the new programs, construction of new buildings, renovation and improved services, ONC prides effective performance reflecting from the high figures of their medical and nursing departments able to serve 21, 180 consultations (OPD and Emergency Cases), 1798 admissions, to 841 surgical procedures done.

In result to the local government’s decision to waive the consultation fees and their efforts to add rooms and other facilities, ONC has accumulated a turn-over rate hitting 60% increase this 2016 as compared to 2015. Total gross income of the ONC remitted to the Municipal Treasury Office reached Php 25, 374, 537.20 (of December 31, 2016) as paralleled to only Php 15, 452, 889.70 of January to December of 2015.

Thus, these numbers only depict the superb direction and management of the Capas LGU, and the willful operations of resident and volunteer doctors, nurses and medical staffs comparable to services offered at other hospitals.


Apart from various hospitals, both private and public, Capas is also complete with Rural Health Units catering those who are in need of medical and dental and dental assistance.

Through the efforts of Department of Health (DOH) and the local government unit and the implementation of the Bottom-Up-Budget (BUB) Projects, a total 51,235 Capaseños have received benefits from public health services just within July to December of 2016.

In a span of 3-6 months, the foreseen next city in Tarlac  has managed  to secure better delivery of medical services through the renovation and construction of health facilities making it more conducive for the municipality’s beneficiaries including the well-maintained RHU III at Barangay Cristo Rey.
