Mayor Catacutan instructs PNP Capas to accompany 20 Construction workers who walked from Manila to Pangasinan and Nueva Ecija
Found in front of Pandayan Bookshop, Barangay Cubcub, they were first fed at 7Eleven before the Capas police force gave them a ride to their provinces.
“Keng panaung ayni, saup-saup dapat. E solusyun ing mipanuru. E tala paburen deng kapara tang tau, pero e ta kakalingwan ing responsibilidad ning bawat metung kekatamu,” said Catacutan.
The local chief executive says it is not only humane to help them, but also safer for all, to give them a ride than to let them walk along the highway as we are in the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine.
“Yaku, bilang mayor, bilang Pilipinu, bilang tau, bilang tatang, gawan ku ing agyu ku. Kareng cabalen ku, ing kooperasyun yu, ya pung asaup yu nung e ko man pu makasaup keng aliwang bage. Maragul pu impact ita, pagpasalamat mi pu ita,” he added.
The chief executive assures the public that in helping the workers, protocols will be followed and they will be brought home in accordance to proper quarantine procedures in their respective provinces.
